Gaining Control Over Your Anger Can Be Financially Rewarding

The most financially successful individuals recognize the importance of controlling their emotions. The strongest emotions are love, anger, fear, depression/sadness/self-pity, jealously/envy, happiness, worry and grief. When we allow our emotions to take control of  us, we allow life to control us and thus we lose all control. Perhaps the most costly of all emotions, when it comes to our ability to make money is anger. Anger is a very costly emotion. Not only does it affect all of our personal relationships but it can cost us financially. Many an employee has lost a job over their anger. Many a business owner has lost a customer or client. Many married couples allow anger to destroy their relationship, resulting in a divorce that is financially devastating. Many a parent or child has allowed anger to destroy the parent/child bond, that is forged from love. Anger, left unchecked, can put an end to a promising life. And that's too bad. it's too bad because it is so avoidable.

We all have control over our thoughts and emotions. They are, after all, our emotions. Those who think otherwise, allow their anger to control them. In my book, Rich Habits, I talk about methods to deal with your emotions. One such method is one I call the "Think, Evaluate, React" strategy. It's a learned habit but once mastered it gives you total control over you emotional reactions to every crisis that occurs in your life.

It is said that every 1-2 months everyone is either coming in or out of a crisis. Acknowledging this allows you to accept the truth that you will always have a crisis in your life. It is how you react to the crisis that sets you above everyone else. Unfortunately far too many people allow their emotions to control them. Their reaction to a crisis is "ready, fire aim". It is one of the main reasons why there are so many people sitting in prison. My book is Rich Habits. To learn more visit  www.richhabits.net or http://blog.richhabits.net/.
