The Law of Attraction

Let me give you fair warning. Some of you may not like or agree with what I am about to say about The Law of Attraction. There is a problem with it. A big problem. It does not work in the way its theorists tell you it will work. The Law of Attraction states that if you think abundance, see abundance, feel abundance and believe abundance, you will receive abundance. When you do this, you are radiating out into the great ether a vibration that will attract those things you believe or want in your life. There are many of you who have bought into this ideology, done the vibrational alignment thing (whatever that is), and have become frustrated when, after months of adherence, nothing happens. You don't budge. Your life does not change and you are right back to where you started. When you ask what went wrong, the advocates of this law argue that you are not aligning your vibration patterns properly (again, what does that mean?). You're basically doing it incorrectly.
The fact of the matter is this: the Law of Attraction has nothing to do with thinking or believing. It has everything to do with physical action. You attract those things you desire in your life when you live your life a certain way. You need to create daily good habits. You need to set goals. You need to put those goals in writing and act on them. You need to build relationships. Network. You need to give and give and give to help build up those relationships and make them strong. You need to live your life in a state of moderation. You need to control your thoughts and emotions. You need to engage in self-improvement every day to fine tune your skills or craft or profession. I call these things, Rich Habits. When you live the Rich Habits, the Law of Attraction works. But not the way you've been told.
When you engage in daily good habits, when you live the Rich Habits, you are building momentum in your life for positive change to occur. Let me give you an example. One of your good habits is to engage in daily self-improvement (action) in your career by dedicating 1/2 an hour each day to studying some technical area you are weak in. You engage in this self-improvement every day, day in and day out. Then one day a prospect comes into your office with an issue that you are immediately able to diagnose because you have seen this problem before in your daily self-improvement activity. The prospect of course hires you, their problem solver. This prospect represents something I refer to as "Opportunity Luck".
Opportunity Luck is that low hanging fruit that appears out of no where in your life. It is the byproduct of engaging in daily good habits. Another name for it is The Law of Attraction. Opportunity Luck is the real Law of Attraction. It is not based on vibrational alignments, habitual beliefs or positive thinking. It is based on action. Opportunity Luck requires action on your part. Without action, neither Opportunity Luck nor The Law of Attraction will occur. You need to live good habits every day in order for Opportunity Luck to manifest itself in you life. And it will.  Stop believing and start doing. It's not easy but it works and there's no mystery to it.
